After seven wonderful years, our family has made the bittersweet decision to close the farm at the end of this blueberry season. This was not an easy choice, but one made with care and consideration for our family.
When we purchased the farm seven years ago, our goal was simple — to preserve the natural beauty of this land and share it with our community. We have been so lucky to watch families, friends, and neighbors fill the fields with laughter, conversation, and baskets full of blueberries. The memories created here — from the joy of a child picking their first berry to the quiet peace of a summer morning in the fields — are ones we will always cherish.
Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, the farm has never been profitable. The costs of ownership and operation far exceed what we bring in, making it a heavy obligation for our family to carry.
We want to express our deepest gratitude to each of you — our family, friends, neighbors, and incredible customers — for your unwavering support, encouragement, and enthusiasm over the years. Your kindness, your stories, and your love for this place have meant the world to us. Whether you visited once or made berry picking a summer tradition, you’ve been part of what made this farm so special.
We will be organizing a huge garage sale taking place at the end of August, so stay tuned to our social media for more information if you are interested.
Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for being part of our story. We hope to see many of you out in the fields one last time this season to share in the joy of blueberry picking and celebrate the memories we’ve made together. There’s still time to visit – the last day of the season will be July 20th!
With heartfelt gratitude,
Jason and Erik
